I have question related to performance of two types of application - javascript browser application that supports webrtc video/audio or native android webrtc app? We have working webrtc application for browser but what we noticed is that after some time using the app it becomes very slow and not so responsive ( during video call ). We decided to compare native and browser app. I managed to run the AppRTCDemo app from here on octa core tablet: http://www.webrtc.org/native-code/android

I spent 1 day testing native and javascript webrtc app and what I noticed is that there is almost no difference of both apps. I ran loopback test on same devices and turned on statistics (for browser app chrome://webrtc-internals and for the native app there was option for showing almost same statisics)The fps is same, the widht and height differs but almost same and other statistics. I thought that the native will be significant faster than the browser app. Why the webrtc behavior is same on native and browser app?
