I am trying to make a simple html + php file work over Apache2. I have Ubuntu 16 LTS installation on Virtual Box VM: I already installed Apache2 and php7. I have a html file with some php code. I end up visualizing only the html without the supposed output from php. It seems there's no error : just seems php engine is unable to recognize php code. I already checked every possible similar case on the internet with no success.
