I've been using a plugin called Smilies Themer to add the Yahoo smilies to Wordpress. Unfortunately, it's outdated and I want to move it to functions.php.

The code of the function that adds the Yahoo smilies is this:

https://pastebin.com/vamf8Su8

I also found this function that changes the default path for the smilies:

function my_custom_smilies_src( $img_src, $img, $siteurl ) {
return $siteurl.'/wp-content/images/smilies/'.$img; }
add_filter( 'smilies_src', 'my_custom_smilies_src', 10, 3 );

Can someone help me put them together? I want to make everything work via functions.php. Thanks!
