I read the documentation of ionic 4. I love the stencilJS part and I'm already familiar with PWA's.
But, I need an app where I can monitor the location of my device. Best would be that it sends my location every hour. This isn't possible in a PWA as far as I know. So that's where I started to look at the native options op ionic.
I didn't find any documentation of turning an ionic PWA to native ios or android app, but I did find ionic framework and ionic appflow. Installed everything and got it running including the geolocation plugin: https://ionicframework.com/docs/native/geolocation
In the end, I still didn't manage to get a native app which does send my location every hour in the background, as this is a specific native behavior. I can't add this to the PWA manifest or in-page javascript.
Any ideas?
