Hi all I am currently working on beast (1.68.0) websockets where I am using the asynchronous ssl client example as reference.

Here I want to generate an error message when the internet is unplugged while data is being written or after data is written and waiting for response. and then I want to close the websocket.

Is there an API call for this or is it internally handled by beast?

In my case, No error message is generated at all. Neither the program is terminated nor the websocket (apparently).
