I want to get the tag from another gameObject. I have to use it somewhere in another tag comparison method, how can I get tag in an object?. Currently I am getting the following error:

Error: cannot implicitly convert type string to unityEngine.GameObject

Internal GameObject Temp;

    //level 5: show mud chunk in excavator hand
    if(this.gameObject.CompareTag ("ExcavatorHand")){

        if(col.gameObject.CompareTag ("baselayer")){

            Temp = col.gameObject.name;   //here i am getting it
            Debug.Log ("temp: "+Temp);
            this.transform.GetChild (5).gameObject.SetActive (true);
            this.transform.GetChild (5).GetComponent <Rigidbody>().isKinematic = true;
            this.gameObject.transform.GetChild(0).gameObject.SetActive (true);

        }
    }

    //level 5: drop mud chunk in the cube
    if(this.gameObject.CompareTag ("mudinhand")){

        if(col.gameObject.CompareTag ("cube1"))
        {
            this.gameObject.GetComponent <Rigidbody>().isKinematic = false;
            ExcavatorAttatchments.Instance.hand.GetComponent <BoxCollider>().isTrigger = false;
            this.gameObject.GetComponent <BoxCollider>().isTrigger = false;
            this.gameObject.GetComponent <Rigidbody>().useGravity = true;
            this.transform.parent = col.transform;

            Temp.gameObject.GetComponent <BoxCollider>().enabled = false; //here i have to use again
            Temp.gameObject.GetComponent <MeshRenderer>().enabled = false; //here i have to use again

            Temp.gameObject.GetComponent ().next.GetComponent<BoxCollider> ().enabled=true; //here i have to use again
            Temp.gameObject.GetComponent ().next.GetComponent<MeshRenderer> ().
