For example, a .framework is using a CustomView.xib in some of the class that belongs to that framework. I would like to "override" that .xib to customise it in my project. It that possible?

I've tried to subclass the CustomView.swift with MyCustomView.swift and load different .xib in my project but this is not complete solution as the .framework still using CustomView.xib.
