I used the following com/tag/commands">commands:

com/tag/sudo">sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ondrej/php
com/tag/sudo">sudo apt-get update
com/tag/sudo">sudo apt-get purge php5-common
com/tag/sudo">sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-php5.6

com/tag/sudo">sudo a2dismod php5
com/tag/sudo">sudo a2enmod php5.6 # after this command I get 'Module php5.6 does not exist'

When I checked the php through the terminal

php --com/tag/version">version
PHP 5.6.30-1+deb.sury.org~precise+1 (cli)
Copyright (c) 1997-2016 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.6.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2016 Zend Technologies
with Zend OPcache v7.0.6-dev, Copyright (c) 1999-2016, by Zend Technologies

Through http php does not work.
