Ok, I have a particle system that is rain and to transition between not rain and rain, I dont just want to abruptly disable the particle system. I want the number of particles falling to lerp to 0, like rain getting lighter.

particlesystem.emission.emissionrate

seems to control the amount well, however I can't lerp this value. What other ways are there to lerp the number/emission rate of particles in a system?
