AS soon as my code opened a text file to interact with the data (I know it did because I always have it output that the file opened if file is true) an error message would pop up (not in the console, but as a literal pop-up message) that says that the string subscript is out of range and gives me the options of aborting the program, retrying it, and ignoring the message. If I abort it, it finishes with an exit code of 3, if I try and retry it, it gives me an exit code of -2147483645 and if I retry it it gives me an exit code of -1073740791. Please help, I am a certified idiot that will probably end up hung from the ceiling before I make it as a programmer anyways so if you don't want to that's ok too... I can give the actual code if you think that would help in solving it but I think it might be a computer issue since there are no syntax errors, and it opened the file. Thanks. FYI my IDE is Clion if that is useful as well.
