Annapolis renders them yet more vulnerable to disruption. इसके विपरीत क्या इजरायल फिलीस्तीन और अमेरिका की संयुक्त स्थिति का विरोध करेगा मुझे जो दिख रहा है कि इससे अमेरिका इजरायल सम्बन्ध अभूतपूर्व ढंग से 1975 और 1957 की तुलना में खराब स्थिति में पहुँच जायेंगे। ऐसा इसलिये कि दोनों तरफ से दांव पर बहुत कुछ लगा हुआ है। कोंडोलिजा राइस ने कहा है कि “अमेरिका इस समस्या का समाधान फिलीस्तीन के नये राष्ट्र के रूप में उदय होने पर देखता है, द्विराष्ट्र का सिद्धान्त न केवल फिलीस्तीन और इजरायल के भविष्य के लिये आवश्यक है वरन् मध्य-पूर्व और अमेरिका के लिये भी आवश्यक है”। जो भी इसके रास्ते में आयेगा उसे भारी कीमत चुकानी पड़ेगी। मैं नवम्बर 2004 से प्राय: कहता आ रहा हूँ अमेरिका - इजरायल सम्बन्ध बड़े नाजुक दौर से गुजर रहा है , इस वार्ता से सम्बन्ध में हिचकोले आने की सम्भावना ज्यादा बढ़ जायेगी । |
