साम Definition:

	पुरातत्व के अनुसार प्राचीन साम नामक भू-भाग के निवासी:"साम के अन्तर्गत अरब, इब्रानी एसीरिया (या असुरिया) और फिनीशिया तथा बैबिलोन के लोग आते हैं"
	भारतीय आर्यों के एक प्रकार के वेदमंत्र:"प्राचीन काल में साम यज्ञ आदि के समय गाए जाते थे"
	किसी सतह से हवा में मार करनेवाला प्रक्षेपास्त्र:"एक सैनिक सतह-वायुमारक प्रक्षेपास्त्र का संचालन कर रहा है" Synonyms: सतह-वायुमारक प्रक्षेपास्त्र, सरफेस टू एअर मिसाइल,
	प्राचीन भारतीय राजनीति में चार प्रकार के उपायों में से पहला उपाय:"साम में विरोधी या वैरी से मीठी-मीठी बातें करके अपनी ओर मिलाने अथवा संतुष्ट करने का प्रयत्न किया जाता था"
	पुरातत्व के क्षेत्र में दक्षिणी-पश्चिमी एशिया और उत्तर पूर्वी अफ्रीका का वह सामुहिक क्षेत्र जिसमें अरब, एसीरिया (या असुरिया), फिनीशिया, बैबिलोन आदि प्रदेश आते हैं:"साम के प्राचीन निवासी एक विशिष्ट जाति के थे"

	1.	In those days all literature in Rug, Yaju & Saam styles collectively was called as veda. उस समय तो ऋक् यजुः और साम - इन तीन शब्द-शैलियों की संग्रहात्मक एक विशिष्ट अध्ययनीय शब्द-राशि ही वेद कहलाती थी।
	2.	It is like paying for the Psalms -LRB- of David -RRB- or the songs of St . Francis . ” यह लगभग वैसा ही है जैसा कि डेविड के भजन-गान ( डेविड के साम ) या सेंट फ्रांसिस के गीतों के लिए उन्हें राशि प्रदान की जाए .

	4.	In that period a combination of the sound-script of Rig,Yaju and Sama, a special sound-collection which could be learned was called veda. उस समय तो ऋक् यजुः और साम - इन तीन शब्द-शैलियों की संग्रहात्मक एक विशिष्ट अध्ययनीय शब्द-राशि ही वेद कहलाती थी।
	5.	“Rig” “Yaju” and “Sam” the aggregate of these three word styles were a specific learning word quantities were only particularly known as Vedas at that time. उस समय तो ऋक् यजुः और साम - इन तीन शब्द-शैलियों की संग्रहात्मक एक विशिष्ट अध्ययनीय शब्द-राशि ही वेद कहलाती थी।
	6.	According to Arthved “”Truch: Samani Chhandasi Puranam Yajusha Saha 11.7.2“” it means origin of Puran was with Truch, Sam, Yajus and Chhand अथर्ववेद के अनुसार ऋच: सामानि छन्दांसि पुराणं यजुषा सह ११.७.२) अर्थात् पुराणों का आविर्भाव ऋक् साम यजुस् औद छन्द के साथ ही हुआ था।
	7.	According to the Atharwaveda, Purans originated in the Rig, Sam, Yayus and Chhand.(Sanskrit text- Ruchaha Samani Chhandasi Puranam Yajusha Sah 11.7.2) अथर्ववेद के अनुसार ऋच: सामानि छन्दांसि पुराणं यजुषा सह ११.७.२) अर्थात् पुराणों का आविर्भाव ऋक् साम यजुस् औद छन्द के साथ ही हुआ था।
	8.	According to Atharvaved “”vruch: saamaani chandansi puranam yajusha saha 11.7.2“”) which means puraan emerged with vruch:,saam, yajus and chandh. अथर्ववेद के अनुसार ऋच: सामानि छन्दांसि पुराणं यजुषा सह ११.७.२) अर्थात् पुराणों का आविर्भाव ऋक् साम यजुस् औद छन्द के साथ ही हुआ था।
	9.	As per Arthvaveda “” Richa Samani Chandhasi Puraanam Yajusha Sah 11.7.2“” means emergence of Puraans was happened along with Chhanda Rika, Saam, Yajush auod. अथर्ववेद के अनुसार ऋच: सामानि छन्दांसि पुराणं यजुषा सह ११.७.२) अर्थात् पुराणों का आविर्भाव ऋक् साम यजुस् औद छन्द के साथ ही हुआ था।
