6.In case of any inconsistency between laws made by Parliament and those made by the Legislature of a State in respect of items in the Concurrent List , the Union law shall prevail and the State law shall be void to the extent of inconsistency except where a State law is reserved for the consideration of the President and receives his assent -LRB- article 254 -RRB- .
यदि समवर्ती सूची की मदों के बारे में संसद तथा राज्यों के विधानमंडलों द्वारा बनाई गई विधियों के बीच कोई असंगति हो तो संघ की विधियां प्रभावी होंगी और राज्य की विधि उस विसंगति की मात्रा तक शून्य होगी , सिवाय उस स्थिति के जहां राज्य की विधि राष्ट्रपति के विचार के लिए आरक्षित रखी गई हो और उस पर उसकी अनुमति मिल गई हो ( अनुच्छेद 245 ) .
