Sometimes, the asexual spores produced by AMOEBA during multiple fission are called as GAMETES but they are not COMPARABLE to the gametes produced by sexually reproducing organisms as they do not show gametic fusion but directly germinates to form NEW ORGANISM under favorable conditions.
