The human body releases the following digestive enzymes in our alimentary canal to digest our food--1. SALIVARY amylase--It is released in the mouth and MAINLY acts on carbohydrates to convert them into simple sugars.2. Pepsin and trypsin--Pepsin is released in the stomach and trypsin is released in the small intestines. Pepsin and trypsin both act on proteins and convert them into pepsinogen and trypsinogen respectively.3. Bile juice--It acts UPON the food that comes from the stomach. In the stomach Hydrochloric acid is released to make it free from germs and it neutralises the food. It also converts the large fat globules into smaller ones (emulsification of fats).4. Pancreatic JUICES--Pancreas releases the juices that are needed to complete the digestion of food in the small intestines. The juices convert fats to fatty acid and GLYCEROL, proteins to amino acids and carbohydrates to starch.Apart from these the stomach releases Mucus and Hydrochloric acid,Liver releases bile salts, Pancreas releases insulin hormones.Hope it helps you....
