To prevent any microorganism from growing in FOOD PRESERVATIVE chemicals are used. These PRESERVATIVES prevent the MICROBIAL infection in the food. Sodium benzoate and sodium meta bisulfate are the COMMON chemicals to check the growth of microorganisms
