tion:The poet calls the young child to his lap and asks him to talk of the pouring rain and the harsh winds. Then promises to narrate a tale,if the child thanks the poet with affection. The story is about the time the poet (The FATHER) was lost in a mountain with no civilization other than that of tribal who attempted to rob bypassers yet feared the carnivores. The rains, dark and the winds were harsh,HENCE the trees, referring to the general flora and fauna were damaged,in addition to property. The poet walks along in the darkness,Physically Unwell,STICKING to an ill-paved path of trees and hills. For SHELTER,when the poet crouches,he notices a wolf.He asks the child to fear not,as they had the mutual motive of Staying safe. The poet and Wolf PROVIDED warmth to each other. When the winds and rain stopped, the poet and the wolf go their way.The poet then again asks for the affection promised, and says that now they have a better shelter against the storm.Overall,I find no hidden meanings to this poem, except perhaps brotherhood and oneness. The poem paints a wondrous picture with imagery. The rhyme scheme is ABCB.please mark this answer as brainlliest
