tion:As we know that -F = Gm₁m₂/r²Let the mass of one body be m and ANOTHER body be MAndDistance between them is rThen, GRAVITATIONAL force [F_{g}]= GMm/r²Now, If the mass of TWO bodies becomes thrice, Then, NEW mass = 3m & 3MAndDistance become half, Then,New distance = r/2Then, F_{g} = G×3m×3M/(r/2)²= 36GMm/r²Here, we see that if the mass of two bodies becomes thrice and the distance between them is half then, the Gravitational force increases by 36 times.
