 I’ve given 200+ technical interviews, and interviewed nearly 100+ software engineers. I’ve interviewed with most of top tech companies like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc. I did my preparations for 3–4 months. Since I succeeded in these interviews, let me share my experience, hoping this would help you too!

The biggest problem I faced was that I was not feeling comfortable with the whiteboard coding, as this is not what you usually do in your day to day job. Secondly, I interviewed at Google and Facebook as a senior candidate, which made it a bit hard as you have to show solid design skills. My Microsoft interview was for junior positions a few years back - there were expecting super good design skills in that interview.
