Hewlett-Packard (HP) is named after its founders, Bill Hewlett and David Packard. Its logo is a lowercase “hp” in italic letters in a circle. It has developed and supplied a wide variety of hardware components, as well as software and services related to consumers, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and large companies, including clients in the government, health and education sectors.

HP’s first product was an audio oscillator. Since then, the company has continued to grow and became the second largest provider of computers in the world in 2013.
