i) If you are outside the house move to an open ground. Don't lay down it will get more surface to strike, SIT in a squat position. ii) If you are in water, quickly come out of it and dry yourself because water is good conductor of electricity. iii) Never take an umbrella with a METALLIC end as it will conduct electricity. iv) Use a cordless phone or mobile phone to CALL for help.v) Never take shelter under ISOLATED tree if in forest.Hope it HELPED
