FaulknerWhen soil remains undisturbed due to TILLAGE, while growing crops or pasture, it is referred to as zero tillage. It is also known as no-till farming or DIRECT drilling. This AGRICULTURAL technique was developed in 1940's by Edward Faulkner, author of Plowman's Folly, THUS he is called the father of zero tillage.
