Ok so I have this Beige Powermac G3 destop with the old Powerpc processor. Its already updated in most terms which information will be provided at the end. My idea or question is, am i able to add a firewire port to this powermac. I have a firewire card lying around that i had from my old i Ghz PC and the powermac doesn't have USB or firewire and i was wondering what can I do to make this WORK. Any ideas? Im currently running OS 9.2 but I can upgrade it to 10.2.
specs before upgrade:
233 Mhz processor
32 Mb RAM
4 GB hard drive
cd rom
after: P.S i didn't do this upgrade i got this computer with UPGRADES done already
233 Mhz processor
225 Mb RAM
20 GB hard drive
CD-RW
The computer works great other than the fact the floppy drive won't CONVERT IBM floppy to mac floppy but other that that it runs great. I want a firewire port so i can connect it to my 2008 macbook.
Any help WOULD be greatly appreciated.
