Solve : ASF File Problem?

Hello everyone,

I have an ASF file on my computer with a little problem. This file was captured by a security camera at the store I own. Unfortunately, although the camera usually works very well, the file seems to be missing some pieces; normally, when I playback the files, there is the video and sound, obviously. However, this one only seems to have the sound... the video is all black or green or gray.

Is there any way of getting the video part of the file to work?

I did just that, and there is absolutely nothing in the way of the lens. The fact is, I need the file that has already been saved to the SD card... I have it, the video that I need is the problem THOUGH, as stated in my other post.

Thanks in advanceWhat kind of camera is it?  I'm referring to the make and model.In fact, it is a hidden camera inside  a cube clock. (If you just google it, you'll find it pretty easily). I use to bust shoplifters, and it's great, but for whatever reason, it seemed this particular file has the video not working/...PERHAPS the camera has shifted inside the clock.It has not. I tried it afterwards without touching anything and it works great. I just need to know how (if) I can RECOVER the video on the file.I've got some utilities somewhere, let me see if I can locate them and get a link.I can't find my archives, I've just moved and I'm not sure which box they are in.  However I did find this site with a COMPREHENSIVE list of ASF repair tools.

I hope you don't need this file due to shoplifting. I will try some of them tomorrow and get back to you.
