NIT calicut is a government institute so there is a reservation criteria is also here. No matter what u scores in Jee main if u belong to category like SC/ST or ph u will get admission at a very low rank and also there is 50% seat is reserve for home state student as if u given your 12th exam from kerala then 50% reservation is for you mean u will get admission even at 50000 rank for general. if u are not satisfying any of the above criteria then there is a seat reservation for DASA candidate also for that no need to give the jee main exam. Please check the NITC website for more detail information. hope my suggestion will help you. Have a nice day.

No, you can't be able to get admission in this college, if you won't meet the eligibility criteria.

May be if u got good score in your 12th board examination, because the selection in college is based on the rank which I on the basis of 60% of jee and 40% of your board
