Shrinivas, yes it is possible to get admission in 2nd year B.Tech Biotech. Apply for B.Tech Lateral Entry. Some institutions like IIITs offer lateral entry on the basis of entrance tests like JEE. But private universities like Lovely Professional University, Career point university, Chitkara University, etc offer direct admissions if you score good in Diploma. Check with the universities for more details. Good luck.
