Computer science and engineering is the best engineering branch of today. IT sector is growing rapidly. Talking about the placements of computer science engineering at College of Engineering-Pune, almost 90% ratio is seen every year. The average package of CSE Engineering at College of Engineering, Pune is around 7 to 9 LPA. Many MNCs like Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, etc. visit here and offers good packages to computer engineers. Companies like Wipro, Future Group, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Adani group, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Samsung, Qualcomm, etc. takes students from here. Since CSE branch is best and evergreen, the placement ratio of this branch will also increase in future with good amount of packages by the companies because of the establishment of many IT companies in our country and developing technologies. So it is good to pursue CSE from a valued institute.

B.E./B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering are all about Computer Sciences, programming languages, software improvement, and experimentation, networking etc. It also concentrates on using the above-mentioned skills and knowledge for practical and Industry particular usage. Students who are involved in programming, software development, computer science and have good logical and reasoning abilities may continue this course. B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Applications) is a somewhat similar course. But B.E./B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering is a bit more complicated and is a much more important Degree! Some recruiters are: Google, Yahoo, Hewlett-Packard, Flipkart, Ola, Toshiba Corporation, Dell Inc, NEC Corporation, Canon Inc, Apple Inc, ASUSTEK Computer Inc, Acer Inc, Lenovo Group Limited, SAIC, Sun Microsystem, TCS, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, CMC, CMS, L&T, Tech Mahindra, etc. Payments are very high. The average package is about 13 lac per annum. Highest can each up to 40 lac per annum.

College of engineering Pune is a very good state government engineering college. Placement here is very good for all the branches. Computer science engineering has very good placement record. Many software, consultancy, and finance companies visit the campus to recruit its students. Here are the placement highlights for computer science engineering : 1) The highest salary offered is Rs 33.80 lakhs per annum 2) Lowest salary offered is Rs 2.50 per annum 3) The average salary offered is 6.5 lakhs per annum 4) Number of companies visited the campus:158. College of Engineering, Pune is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra after IITs and NITs. According to MHRD rankings, it stands at an impressive 24th position. From what I learned while pursuing B.Tech from NIT Trichy, is that COEP is known even to the people in Tamil Nadu which means it is known all over India. For computer science department last time (2016-17) out of 72 students who applied to placements from CSE department 61 students were placed meaning 84.72 percent placement for CSE. Many reputed companies visited the campus for recruiting from CSE department. The lowest package offered was around Rs 3 lakhs per annum and the highest package offered was around Rs 33.8 lakhs per annum (across all branches). However, the average package was around Rs 6.5 lakhs per annum. So the overall scenario for computer science placements was good at College of Engineering, Pune. Source -
