How are the placements of B.Tech in CSE from VIT University, Vellore - Chennai Campus?

The placement ratio of VIT is almost 95-99%. I actually haven't heard any of my seniors not getting placed in the last two years. Students who appeared for the placements are definitely placed in some or the other company, but CSE has been the branch which had the highest ratio for placements since last few years. Different companies which come for recruiting involves Myntra, Snapdeal, Amazon, Paypal, Zomato, Flipkart, PayU, Tencor and JP Morgan. The list goes on like this. The highest package, what I have heard till now, has been somewhere around 25-30 LPA for a student of Chennai campus, but the highest package is totally dependant on the quality which recruiter sees in the candidate. It never depends on your CGPA or academics.

VIT University is the most renowned university in South-India and ranks 11th on the list of the best private engineering colleges in India while its ok use a rank of 6 on the list of best engineering colleges in public as well as private sector. The college has the best computer science undergraduate program which is well structured and is driven by quizzes and assignments which are given to the students to be solved every day as a part of the internal marking system. The college attraction number of core companies because of which the average Core Company placement percentage for the branch is around 60% rest of the students are placed in IT companies which readily recruit students from the college. The average placement package for the branch being around 6 lacs while the highest package being offered to the students of the batch of the Year 2017 being around 39 lacs. Hence, I would recommend you to go for VIT University anytime if you are looking for a good course with good core placements. Hope this helps. Cheers.
