Computer Science Engineering is among the best course of Engineering . BIT Mersa is very good Institute of Engineering. The placements at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra of Computer Science Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is around 90 % placement. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs per annum. Since this Branch CSE is among evergreen field, the Placements of this Branch will increase with good amount of packages. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Flipkart, Cognizant, Wipro, Make my trip, TCS, Samsung, Qualcomm, etc. takes students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of BITS Mesra. So, thus it is really good to do Computer Science Engineering from Reputed Institute like this. The campus of BITS Mesra is very good with all high facilities. So, thus, the placement ratio of BITS Mesra is almost 90 % and in future it will be like this only for Computer Science Engineering and other top engineering fields. Now a days CS Engineers are getting huge jobs as IT Sector in our country is developing very best.

Birla Institute of Technology is one of the best GFTIs having good faculty, placement, faculties and student. There is an increase in the placement record since few years, here is a few data about the placement. In 2015 B.Tech Batch: 17 Student placed in Cognizant, 4 Student placed in Amadeus and Amazon, 3Student in Amdocs, 2 student in call health, 7 student in Directi 8 Student in Fastenal, 9 student in Goldman Sachs, 3in Flipkart, 12 student in Infosys and 7 student in MakeMyTrip In 2016-17 Batch: 05 student in Amadeus, 20 students in Amdocs, 6 students in Directi, 2 students each in Infoedge, Infosys and IBM, 5 students in makemytrip, 6 students in PWC, 4 students in SOCIETE GENERALE, 4 students in Vodafone, Walmart, Wipro, 1 student in Qualcomm, 11 in Samsung India. During the year 2016-17, the Campus Recruitment Programme maintained its strong position with visits of 120 recruiters across all campuses and overall a total of 915 offers were generated. The average salary was INR 6.83 lakhs per annum and the highest national offer was 26.97 lakhs per annum.
