TET stands for the Teachers Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted in order to recruit teachers for government schools. The central government conducts its own test called CTET to recruit teachers for its schools, while each state conducts a separate test to do the same. It has been made mandatory by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development to recruit teachers by conducting TET entrance exam. Eligibility: 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. A graduation degree in any stream. 3. Minimum of 50 percent marks. 4. A B.Ed degree is also required. 5. There is no age limit for TET Exam. Although the criteria could change from state to state. So yes you are eligible, but you have to do B.Ed. All the best.
