The fees for B.Sc is less than engineering. You can always do engineering after B.Sc. I would suggest you to try getting good scores and get into IISc, Bangalore for Bachelors in science.

In B.Tech, you will have all the subjects, you will have in B.Sc. Physics. According to me, go for Engineering. It will be much more fruitful. If your score in JEE or class 12th was good, then apply for B.Tech, otherwise go for B.Sc.

Yes, you can do B.Tech after B.Sc but listen carefully, doing what you're not interested in will just waste your time and for B.Sc. It takes three years which will be considered as wasted years of your mainstream study. Surely it will give you knowledge but not totally technical so try to convince you parents to let you do what you want to do otherwise you will end up with wasting the valuable 3 years of your life.

I would suggest you to go for B.Tech rather going for B.Sc. It has really good value you will have. Better and good opportunities after your B.Tech degree. Cheers.

Follow your heart. Don't give up on parental pressure. It is your life so the decision must be yours. On work front B.Tech is much more beneficial than B.Sc. In physics. You can of course pursue that but it is wastage of time. After all you will be disappointed if you don't get desired marks in physics honors. And, it is quite hard to score high if you are not interested in this. I am my suggestion you should follow your dreams and choose that subject that you like and love.

Yes, you can do B.Tech after B.Sc. You will get admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech and both courses will take 6 years for completion. If have good marks in class 12th and you get good college then you may get good opportunities even after doing B.Sc Physics or B.Sc (Hons) Physics. I am enlisting good colleges for Physics: Indian Institute of Astrophysics-Bengaluru, National Centre for Radio Astrophysics-Pune, Raman Research Institute, Institute of Physics-Bhubaneswar, Orissa, Osmania University, Lovely Professional University, Punjab, Andhra University, Karnataka City College-Bangalore, RV Centre for Cognitive Technologies-Bangalore, Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics-Kolkata, St Xavier's College-Kolkata, Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaji Nagpur University-Nagpur.
