First of all, you have to prepare for entrance exams that are held after class 12th. However, if you want to do LLB after graduation then it's a 3-year law course. After class 12th, it's a five-year law course. Do not go for a corrospondence course. It's better if you go for a regular course.

LLB stands for Bachelor of law. The admission for LLB course is based on CLAT examination. If you score good percentage in CLAT examination, then you can get admission in a reputed college. Eligibility criteria: 1. The applicant should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognised university. 2. The applicant should have scored minimum 55% marks in graduation. The percentage relaxation applicable for the SC/ST candidates. 3. The admission for LLB course is on the basis of merit list. CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. If you are aspiring for this examination, then you should be a citizen of India. 1. You should be qualified in class 12th with 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized university. 2. Your age should not more than 20 years and relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates. Syllabus for CLAT examination: 1. Elementary mathematics. 2. General English. 3. General knowledge. 4. Current affairs. 5. Legal aptitude. 6. Logical reasoning.
