If Maths is your main subject, then it is compulsory for you to clear it.

Yeah, you have to pass all 6 subject. If you have failed in any of the subject, you have to appear supplementary examination for it. All the best. Feel free to revert. .

6th subject is generally taken when the board has a best 5 out of 6 subjects method of calculating percentage. So if you want to go for any further courses where your mathematics subject marks is required then you can apply to appear for the compartmental examination. Otherwise, it is not required for you to pass in the 6th subject. All the best!

If Maths is not your main subject, then you don't have to worry about that, but if you really want to pass it you have to give supplementary exam for that.

Yes, you should pass all of the subjects in order to study further, and to do so you can write re exam in the same year or attempt it again the next year.

Yes, it is mandatory to clear all the backlogs in order to study further. And, to do so you can participate in the supplementary examinations conducted within 3 month of the main examinations.
