Yes, you are eligible for M.Tech through IITs, but you have to score in GATE exam, so that you can qualify for the admission in IITs.

Yes, you are eligible, if you have 60% in B.Tech, and if have a good GATE score, you can go for M.Tech in IITs.

It doesn't matter whether you have taken direct admission, or you are a lateral entry because at the end you are an engineer with a Bachelor’s degree. Only one thing that everyone has to take care of is CGPA in B.Tech and GATE score as well to get admission in IITs.
