The college matters a lot. If you have no special preference over a particular branch choose NIT, Warangal. You get good core companies or other good companies which you can sit for in NIT, Warangal. NIT, Raipur is good as well if you have interest in electrical engineering. So it goes down to what you like. It is all about placements finally. You better choose an institute with better placements because usually, people get to software irrespective of their branch of study. As for classroom learning, professors at any institutes never teach much. It's up to you to learn your courses yourself with textbooks, online courses. Put some logic into your thoughts and decisions. Don't follow blind advice from elders. Just listen to some suggestions by your seniors.
