India is the largest exporter for Software Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) in the world. Indian ADM business is approximately 60% of Indian software exports. In addition, slowly India is become the hub for IT product development also being called product development outsourcing capital. Also, with Make in India initiative maximum startups in E-Commerce products has extensive Information technology component. These all require professionals with software development or programming skills. Therefore, the requirement of highly qualified and experienced IT professionals with programming skills will never dry. Indian IT industry is continuously looking for excellent skill programmers who can write efficient code. If you want to take up only technical programming roles then you may obtain industry-specific certifications in programming to join in developer beside computer science or information technology graduation degree. Good programmers are able to grow as team leaders, project managers, architect, etc.

Programmers work closely with software developers, and in some businesses their duties overlap. When such overlap occurs, programmers can do work that is typical of developers, such as designing the program. Program design entails planning the software initially, creating models and flowcharts detailing how the code is to be written, writing and debugging code, and designing an application or systems interface. Programmers often use an IDE, which allows them to create, edit, and test code. Without coding softwares are not imaginable. In India IT companies have lots of opportunities for good programmers. Languages like R, Python, JAVA, PHP and UNIX are some of the high demand programming languages. Pay scales for fresh graduates in with good programming skills range from 3-5 LPA and upside is immense.
