Foreign trade sector is one of the biggest sector in terms of business for any particular country. Most of the business for any country comes from its Exports and Imports. So, it is very good and booming sector. It just requires really good experience from the handler, who will not commit any mistake in the process. BBA in foreign trade would be able to understand the complete documents, process of Shipping and various modes of shipping, the commercial geography and so on. He will be good in process knowledge, but he will start earning more after he gain more experience in the field. This field requires more experience than just a degree Holder. The starting salary will be about 2.5-3 lakh per annum which will grow with experience and higher qualification like MBA Foreign trade, IB , SCM etc. Hope, this information helps. All the best.

International trade in India is growing along with the fast developing Indian economy. Job prospects are countless with a growing demand for professionals in international business and foreign trade. Job openings are available in export units, international departments of MNCs at different levels. For those who wish to set up an import/export business, a degree in international business and foreign trade would be very beneficial. For those wish to secure government jobs, regulatory bodies like STC and the MMTC offer good employment prospects. Over the years, a career in Foreign Trade has become quite rewarding. Starting with a salary of Rs 8000 to Rs.10000 for a trainee, one can command a much higher salary depending on the qualification and experience. Private companies and MNCs generally pay higher.
