In India there are better job prospects for CS. But if you are the kind of person who likes Physics and feel happy in the company of machines and love hardcore engineering, then Mechanical is the field for you. But be aware that not many engineering colleges in India have amazing labs and workshops for Mechanical. So before opting for any college, do check out the facilities online.

I will suggest you for mechanical engineering. If you have good numerical solving capacity and imagination, you can go for mechanical because after mechanical engineering, you have lots of scope in government as well as private sector.

It depends completely on your choice and aspirations. Both require determination and patience. All the best.

It is depend on your interest. In present time, computer and mechanical both are overloaded branches. Most of the students can take these branches but in my opinion, you can choose other branches like fire and safety, agriculture, electrical, electronic so best of luck for future.

Both are best with respect to themselves, it always depends on your decision whether to choose mechanical or computer engineering. If you want to earn early and need to make more money than computer engineering will be an easy path. But if you have interest in practical applications of physics and models and if you think you like innovation related to mechanical then choose it.
