Pune Institute of Business Management is a decent institute offering PGDM and MBA programme with specialisation like HR, marketing, finance, operations, etc. It also provides a good Infrastructure, experienced faculty, good placement and internship opportunities, etc. All around development of an individual is done from the institute.The major recruiter of the Institute are:- TCS, TATA, ECLERX, ALLSTATES, EVALUESRVE, HDFC, MAGMA FINCORP, ICICI, WIPRO, SBI MUTUAL FUND, GENPACT, JARO EDUCATION, L&T, MAERSK, MAHINDRA, etc. with all the four sector placement into BFSI, IT, CONSULTANT, MANUFACTURING, etc. The average package offered to the candidate is 5 lakh per annum as compared to the total fees of the programme which is 6.25 lakhs per annum. The institute has a renowned name, as it is AICTE approved and affiliated to Savitra Bai Phule University. The institute has well-arranged autonomous curriculum and shares some advantages for the same. While, the comparison is between PIBM and the private colleges of the region. There are over 120 companies recruiting all over the placements session with few being international recruiters. The major IT, Non IT , and commercial corporates are ICICI Bank , Accenture , TCS , Wipro , Asian Paints, Sayaji Hotels , Honda motors , Amazon , IBM , Capegmini , Walmart , Aditya Birla Group , Tata Motors , Reliance Industries , Airtel , I GATE etc . From them, Cognizant is the mass recruiters and recruits the students in hundreds. The average for the placement drive is Rs.7 lakh per annum whereas Rs.20 lakh being the highest for the previous recruitment session.
