The Public Sector has more opportunities for Ece students than Cse/IT but there is a huge competition for government jobs for ece graduates so prepare well for these type of examinations to get your dream job in public sector. Public sectors jobs can be divided into 3 types. A)PSU’s These are public sector companies that either take applications based on GATE score and interview or hold their own exams and interview. B) IES: Indian Engineering Services are considered the most prestigious job profile for Engineers in India, equivalent to what IAS are in administration or IPS in Police. The selection is through Engineering Services Examination (ESE) which is among the most competitive exams in India.
