Computer science and engineering is among the best engineering fields in India and abroad. CSE branch offers the highest employment in our country The placements at National Institute of Technology, Surathkal for Computer Science and Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is almost 95 to 100%. Many multinational IT companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc., visit the campus every year and take students from here. The average package is around 12 to 15 LPA. Since CSE is among the evergreen fields, the placements of this branch will increase with a good amount of package. Companies like Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries and L&T are the bulk recruiters. Other than these companies, many companies like ITC, Zydus, Torrent, Sun pharma, Apollo, Ultratech, etc., recruits students from here. All the credit goes to the training and placement cell department of NIT, Surathkal. So, it is really good to do Computer Science and Engineering from reputed institute or university if someone is really interested in this and is in the search of better packages and further studies.
