Established in the year 1956, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is quite famous in the Patiala region. Its NIRF ranking in is in top 20 and more than 900 offers are made to its students from several recruiters. The Computer Science department at this varasity is a bit younger than the rest and yet garners a lot of attention. There are many colleges: IITs NITs SRM VIT Pune College of Engineering IITs Army Institute of Technology Thapar University Chandigarh College of Engineering DTU BITS Pec University of Technology RV College of Engineering Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology But above given colleges accept JEE Mains scores. Some accept KCET and MHCET scores. BITS accepts BITSAT. IITs accept JEE Advanced scores.
