Both of them have good scope but if you are good in physics then mechanical is best for you.

Mechanical engineering is called the evergreen branch as mechanical engineers find suitable placements in almost all segments in industry. Civil engineering is still a fruitful option with several construction companies and metro rail corporations emerging. In public sector there are opportunities for Civil Engineers in academics, PWDs, public health engineering and water authority and irrigation departments. Entrepreneurial opportunities are limitless. You should opt for civil engineering. It has more scope than mechanical engineering.

I suggest you to choose automobile engineering because it is really a different field from other branch and of course there is a lot of scope in automobile sector in today's world.
