In my opinion, CSE at NIT Jalandhar is better than CSE at PEC Chandigarh, because NIT Jalandhar provides good quality of CSE faculty members, good course curriculum, good placements and good computer labs also.

PEC Chandigarh is one of the oldest technical institutions of India having around 100 years old legacy (established 1921). Coming to the present, PEC has lost its sheen over the years. Mis-governance during previous director's tenure also hampered the reputation. With the new director (who is also a PEC alumnus), some positive changes are happening. So hopefully, things will be on track in near future. I think CSE in NIT Jalandhar is better. Placements are extremely good of computer science students in NITJ. Feel are to ask about NITJ because I am also pursuing engineering from NITJ.
