This question is like comparing apples with oranges. BBA as the name suggests is a business management graduate program whereas BCA is a technical program aimed to give a practical exposure to the candidate. Both have immense prospects especially in today's world where there is a demand for STEM (Science /Technology/ Engineering/ Management) professionals. Coming to the contents of these programs and the general career progression- is a precursor a career in business management. Depending on the candidate's interest, sales/marketing/ops/ IT or finance can be taken. Entry level jobs in SMEs as well as can be expected- ranging from a business analyst, project associate, financial analyst, junior associate etc. On the other hand, it opens up a plethora of opportunity in system and software administration, data analysis, programming and technical support.

Shiksha, It all depends upon your interest. You can choose any 1 among BBA or BCA. You must make sure that it is of your interest. You will be good in the field only if it is of your interest. If you want to go to management then you must go for BBA. Both the career options are good. If you are interested in business area then BBA is a good choice and if you are more interested in computers then surely you have to go for BCA.

BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) and BCA (Bachelor in computer Application) are both Bachelor degree course of 3 years. These courses will include 6 semesters. But these courses are different from each other. BBA deals with the management field. If you are interested in business and if you want to develop leadership, money value, market conditions and basics of business then you should join this course. This course will help you to develop your business and it will enable you to gain more business region. BCA deals with the study of computer programming and Networking and its basic aim is to develop system and application software. If you have the knowledge of computer programming and its basics then you should join this course. For this, you should have the Knowledge of Mathematics and Good command on Reasoning and Interpretation power. BBA is a good course designed to give an insight into the field of management while making a student industry ready as many who do not wish to study further get absorbed in many industries such as banking, financial institutions, and corporations. However, it is always prudent to go for an MBA as it not only increases career opportunities; it also makes a student preferable by all sorts of industries. BCA is a technical degree and the student can hope to learn the concepts of hardware, software, computer languages, programming, etc. After completion of BCA, it is prudent to enroll in MCA which is technical degree equivalent to BE and opens the doors for lucrative job options in all industries.
