B.Ed is the course whereby you can become a school teacher. However, M.Sc is a Master’s degree. In terms of value M.Sc has more value. If you wish to become a school teacher then you can pursue B.Ed. But along with that you must clear the SET exam too. However if being a school teacher is not your aspiration then certainly M.Sc is a better option. If you have passion for teaching then after M.Sc you can appear for NET exam. You will then be eligible to teach at the college level. You can also later take up a Doctorate if you desire. If you have the option to study further then certainly you must take a Master’s degree.

B.Ed is more specific to teaching career, whereas M.Sc is Master course and will give your degree more value.

If you are done with studies and want to get a job desperately, then B.Ed followed by teaching is a common option. However, if you are interested in the subject and further studies, then go for M.Sc as it will anyway help you a lot in both the ways as you can become a PGT after doing M.Sc, but not after B.Sc.

If you want a job immediately then you should opt for B.Ed. The problem with M.Sc is that it is research-oriented. You may need some time for acquiring a good job. It is, more or less, a personal decision.

After B.Sc, B.Ed would best for entering the teaching field, but otherwise you should choose M.Sc. So, it depends on what you want to do.
