It depends on the field in which you want to make your career. After completing MBA, you will get managerial jobs. You can get a good job in the corporate sector. If you are interested in the technical field, then you should opt for M.Tech. The salary package depends on the skills you possess and the brand value of your college.

Both have sufficient scope but if you don't study well you will end up jobless. Don't think too much about the scope and choose a course as per your interests.

If you do MBA, you will perceive both managerial and technical skills. So, you'll have better job opportunities later on. So, MBA would be better for you.

Opportunities are available in both the streams. Just follow that takes you to your interest area. If you are interested in business and want to do startup, then go for MBA otherwise M.Tech is good for applying PSUs and having technical areas.

You didn't score well in BE. It is quite evident that you are not good in engineering subjects or you have less interest in engineering. If you think that you are good in engineering, and due to some reason you didn't score well in BE, then prepare for GATE. According to me, you should opt for MBA in a good management college.
