It depends upon your interest. If you have interest in coding, and you have the confidence that you can get it through, then preferably you should go for CSE. But, if you think you lag in it and you love physics and maths more, then you can go for electrical. Also, see your passion and your future in that particular field.

Streams in demand are Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Instrumentation and so on. Opportunities for Information Technology stream are found to be affected by the recession the world over, but let’s be optimistic. Considering the trends is industrial growth, Electronics and Computer Science streams seem to have good prospects. If you aim for the public sector such as State Electricity Boards, Power Grid Corporation or BHEL, then Electrical Engineering seems to have reasonably good prospects. The scope again depends on the qualities of the person who is entitled to compete in the job market.

Both fields Suyash have their own importance, and it is the personal flair of a srudent which makes him/her more successfull in a particular field. Having said this I can just further add that going by the general norm the takers for CS are more as of now in comparison to that of Electrical branch of engineering.
