It depends on your interest. But, yes robotics is certainly better. B.Tech CSE is the most sought after branch by IIT aspirants. Placement record of CSE graduates from IIT is excellent. CSE graduates from IITs can easily get admission abroad for higher studies. Robotics is a developing interdisciplinary course. I will recommend that you can do MS/ M.Tech in robotics after CSE graduation. You can prefer CSE over robotics at graduation level.
