Greetings from SHIKSHA. Computer Science Engineering is amongst the Best Engineering Branches. There is very good scope of doing CSE from both these Institutes in the terms of training, education and Placements. BITS Pilani and VIT University are among the best Engineering Institutes in India. Placement ratio of both of these institutes is really very good. And almost 100% placement ratio is seen in BITS Pilani. The campuses of both the institutes are also the best. So, now, talking about the point that which is better, among these two institutes, the answer will be BITS Pilani. It is better than VIT University because BITS Pilani prepare quality engineers and packages are higher than VIT University. So, in VIT, intake is more, so the quality engineers are not much produced here. So, thus BITS Pilani is better than VIT University in every term of training, education, placements, research and further studies. The curriculum and students’ life and environment is totally different and the best of BITS Pilani.

No doubt BITS Pilani is a better college than VIT. Just compare on the basis of few points: Admission Test: BITSAT requires more academic grounding than VITEEE. BITSAT has a negative marking system of +3 and -1, while VITEEE has no negative marking. The level of questions in BITSAT is higher as compared to VITEEE. Management quota: There is no admission examination for BITS besides BITSAT but in VIT if someone misses the rank by few then he/she can get admission with the power of money. Attendance policy: There is no strict rule for attendance in BITS but there is a rule for 75%+ attendance in VIT which is not good, I think at the time of engineering we are in that place where a few wants to destroy their career so leave them free to enhance their talent. Placement: There is quite better placement record in BITS as compared to VIT and BITS has more collaboration with foreign colleges which helps students in further studies. BITS is more valuable tag then VIT: If someone considers this answer as biased, VIT may have more bright spots than I mentioned in my answer, but at the end of the day, the word from the masses would definitely tell you to choose any of the BITS campuses in India over VIT, if you have to choose between them.

It would always be BITS-Pilani as BITS has the best infrastructure a college student can dream of. The crowd you get there is the most creamy layer of students and the support from the faculty and administration is way beyond count. The packages student get in BITS can't be compared to any other private college as BITS has its own level which cannot be matched by any private college in near future.

In my opinion, BE in CSE from BITS Pilani is any day better than VIT University. BITS Pilani is a recognised university and has a very good brand value. The placement you get here will also be very good. The exposure you will get here will be amazing. BITS Pilani will help you grow in a holistic way and just in academics. The extra curricular societies are very active here and the fest is grand. Concluding, BITS Pilani is a better choice over VIT. All the best for your future.
